Three more quality inspection procedures implemented on National Single Window mechanism

Prior to that, according to information from the General Department of Standards Metrology and Quality, from 22/6/2018, this unit implemented 3 administrative procedures through NSW, including: Procedures for state inspection of measurement for measuring devices, volume of packed goods when importing; Procedures for approval of imported measuring devices; Procedures for granting certificates of free circulation.
Currently, the Ministry of Science and Technology has a new procedure to implement on the NSW for quality inspection of imported goods, which is under management responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Regarding the implementation of NSW and the ASEAN Single Window (ASW), according to latest information at the end of April, there are 47 administrative procedures of 11 ministries that are linked to NSW (excluding the procedure in the field of Ministry of Finance) with over 1.1 million dossiers of nearly 21,000 enterprises.
From 1/1/2018, Vietnam is one of the first of five countries in the region that has officially implemented ASW, along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. By the end of April, the total C/Os that Vietnam has received from the four countries mentioned above is 22,029; the total number of C/Os sent from Vietnam to the 4 countries is 11,112 C/O.
