Specifically, in the plan, besides publicizing and thoroughly grasping the Regulations, the General Department of Customs requires units and subordinate units to organize the implementation of the contents of the Regulation regularly and continuously to enhance self-awareness and form rules and habits of individuals and units in the whole of Vietnam Customs. The leaders and heads of units must be exemplary in implementation, and directly guide the implementation of the Regulations.

In addition, the plan also specifies: the review and evaluation of the results of the implementation of the Regulations on public duties and the compliance with administrative discipline in the public duty performance of civil servants and civil officials and employees are one of the contents of the weekly and monthly briefings from the team level under sub-departments to the General department level. The contents of review and evaluation must be fully reflected in the hand-over books and conclusion reports of units.

The Plan also specifies that violations of the Regulations on public duties and other regulations of the State and the Ministry of Finance relating to public duties and public duty performance must be handled severely, and depending on the extent and the consequences of the violations, those who violate will be disciplined or even dismissed in accordance with current law.

If those violations do not reach the disciplinary level, those who violate will be evaluated and classified into civil servant level lower than the entitled level and will not be considered for any emulation and reward in the year. Accordingly, the unit which directly manages those civil servants, civil officials and employees will be also decreased by 1 place in the emulation classification table in the year.

It is known that in order to inspect the implementation of the Regulations on public duties, the General Department of Customs shall establish random inspection groups quarterly or annually according to the management and evaluation requirements of the leaders of the General Department of Customs.
