VCN - Hai Phong port zone 2 Customs Branch (Hai Phong Customs Department) has held a signing ceremony of a cooperation regulation with warehouse and port operators in the area under its management.

Director of Hai Phong port zone 2 Customs Branch, Nguyen Thi Thu Hien said the branch in 2022 will continue to be more proactive in grasping the situation and carrying out procedures and solving problems, and introduce solutions to accompany warehouse, yard and port operators to facilitate import and export activities at warehouses, ports and yards under its management.

Hai Phong port zone 2 Customs Branch in 2021 collected VND5,872 billion, exceeding 17.45% of the assigned target.

In 2022, the branch is assigned the target of VND5,900 billion and the ambitious target of VND6,350 billion.

The signing of the coordination regulation with warehouse and port operators from the early days of 2022 is to convey the message of the leaders of Hai Phong Customs Department as well as listen to the comments, production and business plans of operators to actively develop more appropriate measures and solutions in the management to help enterprises in import and export activities in 2022 and following years.

Director of Nam Hai Dinh Vu Port Joint Stock Company Cao Hong Phong said that the signing of the coordination regulation from the early days of 2022 is timely, showing coordination in implementing the tasks of the parties and creating cohesion, sharing and mutual support for mutual development.

General Director of Sao A D.C Investment Joint Stock Company Tran Vu Quang said the coordination between Customs authorities and warehouse, yard and port operators in the supervision of import and export goods demonstrates the companionship and coordination between state management agencies and warehouse and port operators.

Hai Phong port zone 2 Customs Branch and branches under Hai Phong Customs Department have made reforms to develop and promote the customs-business partnership, facilitating the business community in import and export activities, especially amid the Covid-19 pandemic over the past two years.
