Merging several customs branches

VCN – The Ministry of Finance promulgated decisions on restructuring customs branches under 12 customs department. In particular, 14 customs branches have been consolidated and one customs branch dissolved.

Specifically, in Decision 1852/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branches under Ha Giang Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged the Pho Bang Customs Branch into Sam Pun Customs Branch with the common name Sam Pun Customs Branch.

In Decision 1853/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under the Dien Bien Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged the Chieng Khuong Customs Branch into the Son La Customs Branch. Accordingly, the new name was Son La Customs Branch.

In Decision 1854/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under Ha Tinh Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Hong Linh Customs Branch into Xuan Hai Customs Branch directly. The new name was Xuan Hai port Customs Branch.

In Decision 1855/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under Thua Thien Hue Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Thuan An port Customs Branch into Chan May port Customs Branch with a new name of Chan May port Customs Branch.

In decision 1856/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under the Da Nang Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Da Nang Industrial Park Customs Branch into Investment and Processing Customs Branch with the name of Investment and Processing Customs Branch.

The decision 1857/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under the Gia Lai - Kon Tum Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Kon Tum Customs Branch into Bo Y international border gate customs with the name Bo Y international border gate Customs.

In Decision No. 1859/QD-BTC of September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under Dong Thap Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Thong Binh Customs Branch into Dinh Ba Customs Branch with a new name was Dinh Ba Customs Branch. It also merge So Thuong Customs Branch into the Thuong Phuoc Customs Branch with the new name was Thuong Phuoc Customs Branch.

In Decision 1860/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under the An Giang Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Bac Dai Customs Branch into the Vinh Hoi Dong Customs Branch, with a new name Vinh Hoi Dong Customs Branch.

In Decision 1861/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under the Kien Giang Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged two Customs Branches of Hon Chong Customs Branch and Giang Thanh Customs Branch into Ha Tien Customs Branch with a new name Ha Tien Customs Branch.

In Decision 1862/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under Ca Mau Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Hoa Trung Customs Branch into Nam Can port Customs Branch with a new name Nam Can Port Customs Branch.

In Decision No. 1867/QD-BTC of September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under the Quang Ninh Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged the Hon Gai Customs Branch into Cai Lan port Gate Customs Branch with the name Hon Gai Customs Branch.

In Decision 1868/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, reorganizing the Customs Branch under Long An Customs Department, the Ministry of Finance merged Hung Dien Customs Branch into Binh Hiep Customs Branch with a new name Binh Hiep Customs Branch.

Particularly, at the HCM City Customs Department, at the Decision 1863/QD-BTC dated September 19, 2019, the Ministry of Finance dissolved Saigon port area 2 Customs Branch.

Beside the consolidation and dissolution, in the Ministry of Finance's decisions, three new customs branches have been established, including Ben Tre Customs Branch under Long An Customs Department; Rach Gia Customs Branch under Kien Giang Customs Department; and Bac Lieu Customs Branch under the Ca Mau Customs Department.

Along with reorganizing the Customs Branches, the Ministry of Finance also issued a decision to change the names of three Customs Branches including: changing the name of the Bi Ha Customs Branch to Ly Van Customs Branch under Cao Bang Customs Department; changing the name of Phuoc Tan Customs Branch to Phuoc Tan Border Gate Customs Branch under Tay Ninh Customs Department; and changing the name of A Dot Customs Branch into A Dot Border Gate Customs Branch under Thua Thien Hue Customs Department.

Thus, through the decisions of the Ministry of Finance, three Customs Branches have been established and merged 14 Customs Branches and dissolved 1 Customs Branch. The total number of reduction was 12 Customs Branches.
