Three key tasks in the Customs Digital Transformation Plan

Firstly, promoting digital transformation in customs operations with the hiring of information technology services to perform digital customs following Decision No. 97/QD-BTC dated January 26, 2021 of the Minister of Finance.
Secondly, promoting digital transformation in the implementation of the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window with the development of an information technology system oriented towards centralized processing, meeting the requirements of expanding the ASEAN Single Window and National Single Window.
Thirdly, implementing digital transformation to serve import-export enterprises and internal management work such as document management, administration; personnel management and internal accounting.
Along with the implementation of the tasks mentioned above, the Customs sector also performs other important tasks in the Digital Transformation Plan such as building a national database on Customs; developing systems to meet the requirements of connection system, digital sharing of the Customs sector to serve the connection and data sharing of the intra-industry information system following the centralized sharing and connection model; building foundational services to deploy e-government at Customs and perfecting the platform for providing online public services.
